The Tush folk introduces those worthy people who cannot be forgotten and fading of historical memory would be a sin. Tragic stories, ethnographic entrails, legends, legends, and genre diversity of folk poetry.
Oral poetry
Tusheti has always been proud of its legendary past, outstanding mountain customs, heroes and hardworking people. The book "Tushi Records" authored by Costa Azikur proves this - in this book, traditional Tush verse kilo-kavi expresses the folk treasure.
"Us, those who are fine
- Us, those who are fine are at home, those who are wicked, lie within the sheep,
-Us, those who are fine, are within the sheep, while the wicked themselves, within their homes keep,
When Food is scarce, they wonder in the snow and wind,
They come home cold; their wives undress them of their underwear, that is what they are assigned,
Wives of the locals cut the dogs' tails,
Pockets do not come out, so they make hats for their males"
"Guide them, Bekurishvili
Forward stand the Tush, in the the back, Khevsurs, the Pshav people slowly overflow,
Guide them, Bekuridze, with your blue, that is praiseworthy, you know,
Bekurishvili will lead, on the fields of Khandebi,
Tushn do not go for graze, they are ready for a crusade,
They will go to the war, with water getting in their way, feeling betrayed"
*Blue- in Georgia, sometimes horses are referred to that way.
Here we find quite a lot of two- and three-line poetic patterns that at first glance may seem like fragments of a great poem, but these are poems laden with gentle lyricism. As an example, we can cite one, especially with its conciseness and intensity of feeling.
DISCLAIMER:
The translations, obviously, do not show the example of the classic Tush verse, as the mountain dialect cannot be translated into English.
